Hello bloggers. On Tuesday we did a long write.  The thing I found hard was thinking of what to say in my long write. Do you do long writes at you school? If you do what are the long writes about? My long write was about Mr Wolf. Children who came to rimu this year do 240 words and people who have been here longer than a year  do 300 words. I hope you like this blog.  Please comment. Another question would be, if there were ninety ducks in a tree  and  nine fell out how many  would there be in the tree? Another question would be if there were eighty five trees and four got burnt in a forest fire how many would be left? Another question would be  if there were 99 carrots and a bunny ate 18 how many more would be left?

Ugly Old Ogres.

Hello bloggers. Ugly old ogres. Have you seen one? Yesterday in my Long Write I wrote about Ogres because I like Ogres I like these ugly old Ogres because they are funny. Think about  Shrek he was ugly but once people got to know him they saw the good in him. Does anyone else like ogres? I would quite like to ogre for a friend. Dear readers. If there was a movie made in my house it would be called Messy because my house is messy. The mess belongs  to me and India. I would like Rupert Grint who plays ron weasly to act out me. I think that India should be played by Bonnie Wright - she is Ginny Weaslys actor. Dawn French should be the actor for Mum. Click, Click, Went My Knitting Needles.

Hi bloggers, I have never seen anybody knit and I never thought I would. Every Tuesday this term the knitting needles and wool  come out. Mrs VH is trying to teach us to knit! I feel like my knitting needles  are  out of control because  my knitting needles have a mind of their own. Even though knitting is hard, I think that everyone should give knitting a go because you just might like it. Look at the attached photo and see what you can create. My polygon playground..

Dear reader/s. On our maths slides we answered questions. I was just about to finish it when maths time was up. I now have finished it and am up to the part where you do one of the maths week projects and I chose a playtime project in which I had to draw a playground and then make  the playground out of cardboard. Probabilaty.

Dear reader/s. In my maths I learnt that if there were 10 Red blocks, 3 Green blocks and 1 Blue block in a bag, it would be ,more likely for me to pull out a Red block. I learnt that this is statistics. In statistics you learn about probability. I enjoyed doing statistics . Here is a statistics problem for you to answer: If you had ten 20 cent coins what chance would there be to get a head or a tail when you flick them? Leave the answer in a comment please. Speeches.

Dear reader/s. This week we are doing speeches. My speech is about the titanic. The year 5/6s do 2 minutes or 2 minutes and thirty seconds and the year  7/8s do 2 minutes and 30 seconds or 3 minutes. The thing that I found hard was thinking of things to say in my speech.  We have until thursday to finish our speeches. It is exciting in my opinion. Homework: A picture paints Onethousand words.

Hello reader/s. A head with two faces was looking at the dark and green day when along came a rainbow who threatened to torture the head to a banana. Suddenly the head took control  his angryness and bit the rainbow which turned her into an evil wizard. The wizard put a spell on himself which made made him shrink smaller until he was invisible because of his tininess. The wizard tried to climb on the head but was getting smaller. Term 3 goals.

Dear reader/s. This term we did some new goals!  I have nearly finished  my goals. You have to do your reading, writing, number, statistics, geometry and measurement. When we are finished we have our work printed. It is exciting because you can write what you want to achieve this term.
